New IPhone 3G S vs Palm Pre, G1 and IPhone 3G

With the new release of the IPhone 3G , many are left to wonder what is the real difference between the new IPhone and the rest. The main difference that seems to be showing up is speed. Below is a chart comparing the rendering time of different website on the different devices. IPhone Speed

AT&T Downgrading 2G/EDGE Service

AT&T AT&T is moving 2G/EDGE services from the dependable 850 MHz band to the weaker 1900 MHz. This will cut the reliability of 2G services in rural areas where these is no 3G service. So, what is AT&T’s answer to help with this, buy a new phone. OK option for a larger city, but will never help out in the field.
